The Origin Story

What Is The Beer Run?

The Beer Run is exactly what it sounds like: a run... to beer. Through the beautiful Fox Valley in St. Charles, Illinois, participants jog (or walk, or crawl) from brewery to brewery, sampling the finest craft beer the area has to offer.

Founded by the legendary Gorilla Joe and the wise Yoda Jedimaster, The Beer Run is a celebration of community, exercise, and the simple truth that beer tastes better when you've earned it.

There are no entry fees. There are no prizes. There are no rules (well, don't be a jerk). Just show up, run some miles, drink some beers, and maybe fall in the river at the end. It's tradition.
